Ray-Bar’s Lead Lined Vision Lite Frames are fabricated with 18 gauge cold-rolled steel with baked enamel or powder coated color finishes, mitered corners and internal lead lining to specified shielding requirements. The x-ray safety glass is permanently labeled and meets ANSI Z97.1 and CPSC 16 CFR 1201 CAT 2 for impact resistance requirements.

Metal vision frames are available with "Snap-On" real wood veneers that are easily stainable. They are available in Red Oak, Mahogany, Maple and Cherry to give a close match to your natural wood veneer lead lined door. All lead lined frames and x-ray lead safety glass and ceramic glazing assemblies are also available as UL fire-rated 20 minute, 60 minute and 90 minute (with size limitations).
Ray-Bar Lead Lined Vision Frame with X-Ray Glass and Light Proof Door
This product line is utilized in the x-ray film developing room, thus requiring a light proof window developing radiographic films. The lead lined vision frame "door" is light proof with a magnetic-hold catch allowing the technician flexibility and function control. These units are available in standard 4# (1/16") lead lining with x-ray safety glass to meet impact resistant requirements. Higher shielding equivalencies are available upon request. The Ray-Bar X-Ray Shielded Viewport "peephole" with 1/2" diameter lens of x-ray lead glass providing 2mm lead equivalency on corridor and control room side and 1" diameter fisheye lens for wider field of view providing 180 degrees vision on x-ray imaging side, to fit into lead lined shielded door thicknesses adjusting from 1-3/8" and up to 2-1/8" thick.
This unit easily fits into 9/16" drilled mounting hole at eye level and installs in minutes. UL listed for 45 minute rated fire-resistant doors. It offers security and safe one-way operator viewing of patient and procedures while also providing patient privacy. Applications are for installation in wood or metal shielded doors, an excellent option for dental x-ray, panoramic units or chiropractic x-ray imaging.
